About Me

Aloha! My name is Kiana Petty and I am a student at the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa in Honolulu, O'ahu. I am currently a sophomore with a declared major in finance and plan to also study international business.

I am originally from the Bay Area, California and chose to attend UH based off a decision I made at the age of ten that University of Hawai'i was the only university for me. After a quick and stress-free college application process, I received my acceptance letter to the Shidler Direct Admit program and have been enjoying all of my time as a student here ever since.

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do with my time and thanks to my mom's wonderful job with United Airlines, I have had the opportunity to travel to 27 countries so far. I also enjoy reading, painting, spending time with family and friends, and expanding my small importing business.

I will be studying at the International College of Seville in Spain for four months for the spring semester of 2020. I will be flying standby to Seville so my exact departure date is slightly up in the air. I plan to get to Europe about a week before we have to arrive in Seville on January 28th to have a couple days to travel around Europe.

I am SO excited for this upcoming semester abroad and all that is has to offer !!
